From no system to first-time certification

The problem

A growing electronics refurbisher had reached the point where a handshake reputation could no longer carry it. Enterprise buyers wanted a documented Quality Management System before they would sign, and the refurbisher had none: work instructions varied from bench to bench, corrective action meant a conversation rather than a record, and the OEM-grade quality its customers expected could not be demonstrated on paper.

What we did

• Opened with a gap analysis against every ISO 9001:2015 clause and prioritized 14 gaps for immediate action
• Built a custom QMS documentation suite for the refurbishing operation: policy, manual, objectives, process interaction map, and 11 SOPs
• Delivered implementation support through two project phases spanning four months
• Conducted the full internal audit and facilitated management review before the Stage 1 submission
• Supported nonconformity responses after the registrar's Stage 2 audit; zero major NCs at certification
