Privacy policy
What we collect through this website, why, who else touches it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This policy accurately describes how the website is built and what each form collects, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel check it against your obligations before publishing, particularly if you take engagements outside the United States.
The short version
- You can read every page of this site without giving us anything.
- We only collect what you type into a form, plus your quiz answers if you take one.
- We use it to reply to you and to deliver what you asked for. Nothing else.
- We don't sell it, don't share it with advertisers, and don't run a newsletter.
- This site sets no cookies of its own, and our analytics is cookieless.
- Email us and we'll tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. No charge, no forms.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect
We collect information you give us through forms. We do not require an account, and you can read every page of this site without submitting anything.

Our host records standard server information — IP address, browser type, pages requested — as every web server does. We do not combine it with form submissions to build profiles.
3. Why we collect it
- To respond to you. Every form exists so a person can reply. That is the primary purpose.
- To prepare properly. Quiz scores and stage information mean we arrive at a call knowing your situation rather than asking you to repeat it.
- To deliver what you asked for. A checklist, a listing, a referral introduction.
- To follow up once about the thing you contacted us about. We do not run a newsletter or an automated marketing sequence.
- To administer our programs, including verifying referral eligibility and maintaining recognition listings.
Where the GDPR applies, our lawful bases are your consent for optional submissions, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and administering the programs you have asked to join.
4. Data about other people
The referral form asks for contact details of a third party. The business you are introducing. That person has not given us their details themselves, so two things follow.
So we hold ourselves to four things. By submitting a referral you confirm you have permission to share those details. When we make contact we name the person who referred you, so nobody is left wondering how we got their details. That first contact is an introduction, not marketing. And if a referred contact asks us to delete their information or stop contacting them, we do both, immediately, with no argument.
We would rather you introduced us directly by email. It works better for everyone, and it means the first message they receive comes from someone they already know.
5. Third parties
We keep this list short deliberately. These services are involved in running the site:

| Google Fonts | Typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads. |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Counts page views and referrers. Chosen deliberately because it is cookieless and does not build profiles of individual visitors, track them across sites, or identify them. |
| Google Workspace (Gmail) | Our email. Anything you send us, and our replies, are stored there. |
| HubSpot | Our CRM. Enquiry and contact details are recorded there so we can follow up and keep track of a conversation. |
| Intuit QuickBooks | Invoicing and accounting. Used for clients and for referral payments, and it holds the billing details that go with those. |
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own, and our analytics is cookieless. There are no third-party embeds that set cookies either. We use no advertising trackers, no retargeting pixels and no social media tracking. We do not build profiles of visitors or follow you across other websites.
7. How long we keep it
Form submissions are retained in our Netlify account and in email while they are useful for your enquiry and any resulting engagement, and afterwards for our business records. Recognition listings are kept while your participation continues.
We have not set an arbitrary deletion date, because we would rather tell you what we actually do than publish a schedule we don't follow. What we will do is delete your information whenever you ask us to.
8. Your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you
- Provide a copy of what you submitted
Email info@wilkshireconsulting.com and we will action it. We will not make you jump through hoops, and we will not charge you.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you rights of access, deletion, correction and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Access to submissions is limited to people at Wilkshire Consulting who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we would not claim otherwise.
10. Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use information will be flagged clearly rather than slipped in.
